@merliedogs The dog obviously enjoys the agility. Also, if you didn’t notice, it isn’t like the bars are set to the highest setting. They are very close to the ground, the dog pretty much steps over the bars. Also, you wait that long to reward to keep the dogs on their toes on when they will be rewarded so they are more alert at the times when they are not being rewarded. It increases focus.
I cannot believe you are doing this much with a 5 month old dog (and a big dog at that). Also why does he have to do sooo much before getting his reward???
